annual maintenance

Why would I need support?

Almost all our products are concerned, in one way or another, with accounting and bookkeeping. Although we try to keep our software simple to use, if you are not familiar with the way that manual or computer accounting works, you may well need to ask questions about accounting, or how the software carries out a specific function, particularly in the first year of using the product.

The Annual Maintenance Contract provides you, the User, with both help and support for your EZPZ product.

Software Updates

In addition to covering the cost of maintaining the telephone help line, the money you pay for support also helps to fund continuous development of our software. This includes adding new features and changing existing ones to cater for changes in use, new operating systems, and so on. We maintain an email address list of users currently subscribed to the Annual Maintenance Contract. When new updates of the software are available we send an email to the users on this email list providing them with a link to our website from where the new update can be downloaded.

Why isn't support included in the price?

Many software providers include support in with the purchase price of their software - which means, whether they need it or not, everyone is paying for support. Our view is that users that don't need, or want, support for the software should not be paying for it. We still need to cover the cost of someone to sit and man the help line 5 days a week, so we give you, the user, the option of paying for support. This keeps the cost of our software low.

Period Covered

Your Annual Maintenance Contract covers a period of 1 year commencing from the date we receive your payment.

How does it work?

Once your payment has been received by us you will be issued with an Account Number. This should be quoted whenever you request support.

You will be provided with a special help line telephone number. Calls to this telephone number are free of charge if made from a UK landline.

Please see the Contact page for details of our opening times.
