I can heartily recommend EZPZ Property Manager, it has made our job so much easier.
The things I like are firstly the nominal structure is very similar to Sage so that meant learning it was easy.
At the end of the month I can generate all my landlord statements very quickly and I now have 64 landlords to send every month. If anybody wants information about property, eg when is a gas certificate is due, I can give it very quickly. It also reminds me when a gas certificate or anything else needs doing.
In short, I couldn't run the business without it.

When we first started using the program we found it hard and a bit overwhelming (with no fault to the program, our lack of accounting skill in the beginning) but with the help of John as time went on we appreciated the amount of depth the program goes into.
After working for this company for a number of years, and using the program on a day-to-day basis, you come across all kinds of issues from people bouncing cheques, rent arrears, maintenance of the property, landlord payments etc. I can say that, whatever the problem was, the program was able to cope with it.
Without this program we would be overwhelmed with paperwork.

I have used EZPZ Software's Property Manager software since 2004, having previously used a combination of Quickbooks and Excel. I found Quickbooks to be very easy to use but there was much duplication of data entry involved in having separate systems for tracking finances and preparing monthly statements for landlords.
I needed a system that would not only integrate the financial management and landlord reporting capabilities of my existing systems, but one that would also help with managing tenancies.
In early 2004, I carried out an extensive comparison of property management systems from both UK and US software suppliers. I read many reviews, downloaded trial versions, sent away for CDs and in some cases, had company representatives run online demos or visit me to run through demos first hand. I put together a spreadsheet to help me compare and contrast system features and costs.
EZPZ Property Manager immediately stood out. First of all, it was easy to evaluate using a very helpful "Getting Started" tutorial file. Secondly, unlike a number of other packages I tested, it didn't crash. In fact, in one of the first emails I sent EZPZ, I remarked at having been able to use the software for a few hours with no crashes. It turned out also that EZPZ Property Manager was unique and still is at its price point, in being able to handle both agency and landlord accounting. Many of the alternative systems I reviewed, offered expensive utilities for exporting data to Sage or Quickbooks, which themselves carry a significant cost.
A quick look at my email records reveals that I began evaluating EZPZ Property Manager on 9th May 2004; I purchased it four days later and at the end of that month, I was able to use it to record all rents received and to issue our landlords with professionally formatted, accurate statements of account.
Over the years since starting to use EZPZ, I have tortured John repeatedly with requests for help and suggestions for upgrades. At all times, John has been the epitome of patience. I've never ceased to be amazed at how, after my sending a frantic email requesting assistance in the early hours of the morning, John has had a response waiting for me first thing next morning. Support from EZPZ quite simply has been second to none, terms of both speed of response and quality.
Not a company to rest on its laurels, EZPZ has continued to develop and improve Property Manager. Over the course of the four and a half years that I have been using the system, almost all of the suggestions I have made have been taken up and with the recent release of Version 7, which incorporates a host of useful and time-saving features, I believe EZPZ Property Manager is now a mature and extremely capable product with no equals in the market at anything near the price.
