Set up automated standing orders and direct debits

You can speed up transaction entry by creating automated entries for your standing orders and direct debits.

Automated entries can be for any frequency including calendar monthly, weekly, quarterly and annual.

Automated entries can be for a fixed number of postings or can be set to run "until further notice".

Reconcile your bank accounts

Use the account reconciliation screen to check what you've entered in the software agrees with your paper bank statement.

Move items, which appear on your bank statement, from the upper window to the lower window. When the reconciled balance agrees with that on your bank statement, click the button to mark those items as reconciled.

Account reconciliation is a very useful tool for locating errors in data entry.
