Sales Ledger

The Sales Ledger is concerned with everything to do with your clients.

Open the Clients list to see at a glance what your clients currently owe.

Use the automated credit control features for batch production of statements, reminders, etc.

Create client standing order records for those clients that pay by this method to enable quick posting of receipts from bank statements.

Business Accounts, Clients List

The Main page of the Client record shows the name and address details for the client.

You can record the client's email address, and up to 4 telephone numbers. Where the telephone number is for a mobile you can send an SMS text message from the software direct to the client's handset (account and text credits required, purchased from us).

The Ledger page of the Client record shows details of all the transactions for the client - invoices, credit notes, receipts and discounts.

The Ledger page is where you can enter any opening balance that was outstanding at the date you started using the software.

Corrections can be made from this page by double-clicking a transaction to open the editing window.

Open the Suppliers list to see at a glance what your clients currently owe.

The Main page of the Supplier record shows the name and address details for the supplier.

You can record the supplier's email address, and up to 4 telephone numbers. Where the telephone number is for a mobile you can send an SMS text message from the software direct to the supplier's handset (account and text credits required, purchased from us).

Nominal Ledger

The Nominal Ledger looks after the analysis of your income and expenditure.

For each transaction you post to the system you select the nominal account it is to be posted to.

The nominal account balances are then used to produce the Profit and Loss report, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reports.

Bank Accounts

Bank accounts are nominal accounts that have special functions.

The Bank Accounts window shows the balances of your bank accounts with overdrawn balances shown in red.

Reconciling a bank account means checking off the transactions that you have entered in the software against the paper statement you receive from your bank.

Bank account reconciliation is an excellent way of checking for data entry errors by comparing your data with an external source.
